NATIONAL BANK DISCOUNT BROKERAGE ranked first for its customer service

Montreal, 19 November 2001 - 

National Bank Discount Brokerage shares first place ranking with two other firms for the quality of its customer service. Those were the findings of a recent study by the prestigious research firm Dalbar which rated Canadian discount brokerage firms based on certain criteria for service offered to customers over the telephone or by e-mail.

The study, conducted between August 15 and October 26, 2001, measured the quality of customer service offered by the seven main discount brokerage firms in Canada. With the highest overall score, National Bank Discount Brokerage ranked first in terms of brokers' diligence in responding to clients' requests, their helpfulness and professionalism, and their initiative in suggesting options that are to their clients' advantage. Moreover, National Bank Discount Brokerage was the only firm to be ranked first for its representatives' knowledge and confidence in answering clients' questions.
